Chapter 40

In this chapter, Spartacus launches a fierce assault on the Hub, employing advanced weapons and tactics that push the defenders to their limits. Despite initial counterattacks, Spartacus gains control of the outside, and new, mysterious cylindrical devices emerge from Detroit, disrupting missile defenses with high-energy X-ray emissions. Faced with dwindling resources and escalating threats, the defenders debate their next move, culminating in General Linsay's decision to personally lead an all-out attack on Detroit in a desperate bid to prevent total defeat.
