However, Buckler's true nature is revealed as he grows stronger, changes his appearance, and ultimately lures several townspeople, including Mrs Bloodworth and her family members, into a magical cupboard from which they never return. The chapter ends with a glimpse into Faerie centuries later, where Anne Bloodworth is found still laboring under an endless task.
