Ender's Game (1986)Orson Scott Card

Chapter 14

This chapter explores the manipulation and unfairness embedded in Ender's training at Battle School, as Colonel Graff deliberately stacks the game against Ender to bring out his genius. Ender is transferred to Rat Army, where he faces a chaotic and hostile environment under the command of Rose the Nose and the toon leader Dink Meeker, who challenges Ender's tactics and authority. Ender begins to assert himself by teaching new maneuvers to other soldiers, despite resistance and surveillance from older children and commanders.
